A Blessed Day

Today has been a wonderful day of peace and togetherness. We have had a blessed Christmas Day. Tessa continues to grow at an exponential rate. She has now joined the 4lb club. Today her weight is 4lbs 2oz. Although she only took one full bottle today before tiring out, she paces herself and stops to breathe when necessary. At her other feedings she took some milk by bottle and the remainder through her feeding tube. Bottle feeding is certainly hard work.
Today they lowered her supplemental oxygen back down to 26%. We pray that she responds well and her oxygen can be lowered even more. With only one occurance today, she is doing much better with her bradycardia and desats. She is also doing well in the open crib and maintaining her body temperature without a problem. God continues to watch over her and provide for her daily.
