It is almost hard to believe but today Tessa weighed 3lb 12oz. She is a big girl now. We have reached another milestone in that she has now tripled her lowest weight of 1lb 4oz. She is three times that size which is still small when compared to other babies but everyone in the NICU is commenting on how big she is now. We certainly see the difference. God truly works miracles.
Dr. Wimmer did not make any changes to Tessa's medical care today. She is still at 27% oxygen and 30ml per feeding. Today she took a bottle at 3 of her feedings and she continues to have some bradycardia each day. It may still be related to reflux so he is monitoring her bradycardia and desats closely to decide on proper treatment.
Tessa had several visitors today. Peggy, Terry, and Shannon came this morning bearing gifts and goodies. Terry and Shannon are friends from Greensboro but Peggy travelled from Leesburg in Northern Virginia. This afternoon Pat and Neeley visited. It has been a while since Pat has been able to visit because of having surgery herself. We are glad that she is back up and about. God has blessed us with so many wonderful friends that care so much. Thanks so much to everyone for supporting us through everything. You all have kept our faith strong and our spirits lifted.
