No Rules

Nurse Mandy tells me this morning that Tessa forgot to read the NICU guidebook. She does not follow any of the rules. We called in to check on her during the night and she received a great report. She had a good night last night but this morning her blood gases and blood pressure are off target. They have increased her dopamine for blood pressure and have readjusted her ventilator settings. They also sent off labs to see if she may need another blood transfusion and they are going to give her more fluids. She just received her echocardiogram today and this time she cooperated. We should have the results but the time we meet with the cardiologist at 2:00 today. We have a beautiful little girl and we are so very thankful.
