Thanks to all of you for your prayers and encouragement today. Although Tessa is still on the oscillator and multiple antibiotics, she is doing much better. God answers prayer. He has given us hope and has given Tessa great strength.
This evening all of Tessa's vital signs have returned to an acceptable level. Her blood gases are good, the acidosis is corrected and blood sugar is below 200. Her blood pressure is good and her oxygen saturation is high. They are slowly weaning her off the extra oxygen and blood pressure medication. Two wet diapers this afternoon and evening brought us great joy.
The installation of the radial arterial line in her arm went well. They also had to replace the IV in her foot. They will keep her slightly sedated for a while so that she will not fight the oscillator and get some rest. She remains on antibiotic in case of infection but is slowly becoming more responsive. God has blessed her with many angels in the NICU that care for her and are devoted to keeping her strong and facilitating her growth and progress. We extend a special thanks to all of them. Dear Lord, we pray that you will give Tessa relief and comfort this night and the days and nights to come. Amen.

But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

God's hand is at work!!
We love you all and hope to get down to see you in the next few weeks.
We continue to pray faithfully.

I continue to pray for Baby Tessa and her parents throughout each day. May the Lord bless and keep you.
Yes, God does answer prayers. So glad that Tessa had acceptable vitals last evening and that things are looking up. Hope she slept comfortably overnight.
Looking forward to the next update and send much love and many prayers your way today.
Love to all three,
Bev
Hello guys
I went to bed before your last update, but was very happy to wake up to your update this morning. Hopefully Tessa is on the right track again.
Saying lots and lots of prayers for her!
Same as Shelly, I went to bed last night before your update came through but Tessa was in my thoughts all day yesterday. (As were you and Nancy because I know this is very hard.) I was praying that any infection would be cured.
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love you!
Angie
A Prayer for Tessa Nicole
Lord Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of the sheep, you gather the lambs in your arms and carry them in your bosom: We commend to your loving care, Tessa Nicole. Relieve her pain, guard her from all danger, restore to her your gifts of gladness and strength, and raise her up to a life of service to you. Here us, we pray, for your dear Name's sake. Amen.

I have been thinking of Tessa all evening. And thought I would share the prayer I say for her.
Jack told me to tell you he loves you and he prays for you at night before he goes to sleep. He wants to see all the pictures of the baby though he doesn't quite understand everything. We check everyday when he comes home from school. He can't wait to show Tessa how to make cupcakes, and of course how to eat them! :)Love to you all... The Moore's
