We have received so many words of encouragement and gifts of love. There are so many churches that have us on their prayer lists and countless individuals lifting us up in prayer continually. We truly feel wrapped in prayer. The Women of West Market United Methodist Church brought us a prayer shawl and Tessa a prayer blanket yesterday. Now we are wrapped in prayer, literally and physically. It has given us great comfort.
Unfortunately, Tessa had a rocky night last night. Her blood pressure dipped very low and her lactic acid levels are very high. These are both signs of pulmonary hypertension. She is again very swollen and her x-ray shows very little air in the lungs. New blood cultures have been sent to test for infection and they are putting Tessa on a stronger antibiotic. They are also starting treatment for a possible fungal infection. An additional blood pressure medication has helped raise her blood pressure. They are holding her sedation. If she is a little more alert, she can help stimulate her blood pressure as well.
We sincerely ask that everyone continue in prayer. Never before have we had such a test of faith. Our hearts are aching. So much of this is well beyond our understanding but our trust is still in the Lord.

Thank you God for the wisdom you give this special team of people helping Tessa. Guide them Lord in their every move. Thank you that Anthony and Nancy feel wrapped in your love today.

I am sorry to hear that all of you have had such a rocky couple of days. I check your site often to see how things are going, since I am not back until tomorrow. We're sorry to hear that Tessa had such a rocky night. We were hoping that ya'll would be able to rest good. I know it's hard to rest knowing that your little girl is so sick. My heart aches for ya'll because I know that it's got to be hard to see your precious baby going through this sickness. All we can keep doing is pray, pray, pray. We think of ya'll often and hope today that ya'll will see a change in Tessa's condition. Even if it's a small one. Any good change is better than none at all. We hope also that ya'll will feel wrapped in everyone's love all around you and that you will be able to feel everyone holding you and your little Tessa up in prayer. We know ya'll can't understand the things that are happening and alot of us can't either. We all have to just believe that God knows what he's doing and that he has a purpose for each of our lives. Ya'll have been able to reach out and touch so many people since ya'll have had Tessa. If it were not for Tessa there's alot of us out there who would not have got the opportunity to meet ya'll and to look back and really have a "reality check" on our faith. Ya'll are a blessing and I really hope that God blesses you for taking the time out of your life and your schedules to focus on other people and their problems. We love ya'll and we thank you for letting us get to be like family to ya'll. We will be thinking and praying for ya'll today. Please stay safe if you have to go out in this weather and Tessa, we hope that you will be able to have a better day today than you had last night. We love you little one. Hugs and kisses.
