Tweaking

There were so many people in Tessa's room when we walked in this morning. This always makes your heart drop, thinking something is wrong. Lord, increase our faith. Actually, they are just continually tweaking and making changes to maintain a balance in her system. They adjusted the canula in her neck, modified dosage on her medications, turned off the hemofilter, decreased her sedation and lowered her feeds. She is getting less milk because her belly looks a little full. The other adjustments are to maintain blood pressure, oxygen saturation and fluid balance. Her blood pressure and oxygen saturation were a little low earlier this morning and she stopped urinating. She did have two bowel movements and her urine has now picked back up. Her fingers and toes are still very purple but do not seem to look any worse than before.
As they say, this is a process requiring baby steps. We love this little girl and will be here with her for as long as it takes her to heal. God is here with us every step of the way.

Leviticus 26:12
And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

Galations 6:9 "And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acing nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do no loosen and relax our courage and faint." This tells me that when the time comes no devil in hell, no person on earth will be able to stop God from fulfilling His promises and blessings to Tesssa and Anthony and Nancy.

Tessa Nicole, you remind me of that Energizer Bunny that just keeps going and going....Keep going, Victorious One! You are not alone.

Nancy and Anthony, Tessa is so blessed to have such dedicated parents. You two keep going too!

Can you tell us the visiting times at Brenners?

Yesterday, more prayer warriors were added to Tessa's list of dedicated saints who are faithfully praying for her complete recovery. From my own personal experience, I have been so blessed by this little girl in so many ways that it's hard to explain. I know God is using this sweet angel as a vessel for whatever His purpose is for this particular time in your life and her life. Try to be excited about the reward that waits at the end of this trial. Please keep the faith because God will heal this precious baby and you will get to bring her home soon!

Philippians 4:19 is the promise that God will be with you."And my God will liberally supply your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Where God guides, He provides. If He leads you to it, He will lead you through it.2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Thank you,God that you have heard our prayers for healing for Tessa. Thank you that You have begun this process and according to Your word we will see more of if in due time.
Amen

Continued prayer for Tessa. Have added her to prayer list at church. I know time seems to be inching by but God does things in his own time. We're thinking of you and praying continually.

We too appreciate ya'll taking the time to up-date us on little Tessa's progress. We have been thinking and praying for ya'll. We too would also like to know when the visiting hours are at Brenners so we could come up there to see ya'll and give ya'll some support. (That is when ya'll give the ok and when the staff says it's ok too) We wouldn't want to come up there if the staff and ya'll think that it's a bad time and if ya'll think Tessa needs more rest than company. We do want ya'll to know that ya'll have some good "supporters" if ya'll need us for anything. We will check in later with ya'll to see how the day is progressing. Tessa, please get some rest. Nancy & Anthony, we hope ya'll have a good day as well.

There is no price on LOVE...Tessa knows that her parents are always there for her--when and if she ever needs you..it's a blessing to know that there are so many people who are praying and continuously thinking about the three of you all the time...You know all you have to do is pick up the phone and say "I need you" ...we would be right there...being so far away is hard-but at least we can be kept up on what is happening through the website and phone calls...thanks Anthony...hope you get a chance to enjoy the snow a little.....
love and miss you guys..

Just checking in on all of you! When I left this morning I had called Aaron to come in to start the tweaking process, since her urine had dropped. I hope that things settled out and that it was again a quite day. Hope that all of you have a restful night! She needs all the rest she can get so her lungs can heal.

Nancy and Anthony, I check Tessa's progress every day and am encouraged by the amount of "fight" that she has in her. I pray for the three of you daily that you'll all have the strength that you need for the day! Yes, as Nurse Diane commented...Miracles do happen every day!!

Please keep the faith and know that we are all here for the 3 of you. Our prayers do not stop, they are there 24/7. Keep blowing those kisses to your little angel, she surely is cathching them and sending so many more your way! You two are WONDERFUL PARENTS, she truly is blessed. A Prayer for Tessa

Lord Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of the sheep, you gather the lambs in your arms and carry them in your bosom: We commend to your loving care this child, Tessa. Relieve her pain, guard her from all danger, restore to her your gifts of gladness and strength, and raise her up to a life of service to you. Hear us, we pray, for you dear Name's sake. Amen.

Nancy, through very strange, unexpected circumstances, I found out today that congratulations are due for your beautiful bundle of joy, Tessa. I've spent the last hour reading through the blog of her journey thus far. What a strong spirit she has! I just wanted to let you know that my heart goes out to you and Anthony and my prayers are with your beautiful little girl.
