Tessa changed addresses today. They moved her from room 616 to room 625. Each piece of equipment had a battery backup with an assigned person pushing it. She is now closer to the center of the PICU and another ECMO patient next door. The move went well.
They decided not to do an echocardiogram today. Although her blood pressure does fluctuate, they have had reasonable success controlling it with medications. They will probably do an echocardiogram at a later time. They did do another RSV test today. The result was negative so she has been cleared of RSV. She received more platelets today and continues to receive antibiotics in case of infection.
The peripheral IV in her arm came out today so they have been trying to insert a new one. It is difficult because she is swollen and she has previously had so many IVs. A peripheral IV is best for giving platelets if possible. She is still handling her feedings and urinating well. Her fingers and toes look very bad but they are of secondary concern to the doctors right now. They are watching them closely. God is our healer and we know that many times healing is a gradual process.
We have received so many messages of hope and know that Tessa is on the minds of so many family members, friends, and others that we do not even know. Thousands of prayers are being said for Tessa around the world. Lord, hear our cry to you.
Psalm 61:1-2
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Tessa is in our hearts, our minds and our prayers, not a day goes by that I don't say a prayer for her, for you, the strong and faith filled parents whom have brought me strength and faith in knowing that life is so precious, so precious as a baby girl named Tessa Nicole! Love and prayers for the three of you, all day, every day! With love, hope and faith, My best wishes to you!
Ya'll have been on my mind all day. We're glad Tessa did ok during the "room move". We're sorry to hear that her fingers and limbs still look so bad, but we have to remember like ya'll and other people have said before God is the Healer and He knows what He's doing. He is in control. We are hoping to hear of improvements soon but I'm sure that it will take some time. The little steps are still in the right direction. We want ya'll to know no matter how long it takes for Tessa to get better, there are alot of people that are going to love you and your little one and pray for you through every last step of the way. We hope God will see fit to get Tessa moving in the right direction very soon so ya'll can take her home. We know that it has got to have been and has still has got to be very hard on ya'll. Ya'll have been through so much but yet ya'll have been so strong and such an encouragement to others. God has good things in store for you and your little angel. Ya'll don't know how many lives ya'll have touched since Tessa has been born. We will continue to think and pray for all 3 of ya'll through the night. In the meantime, please try to get some rest. Just remember Tessa is resting in God's arms. Please also be careful if ya'll have to go out in the bad weather that is suppose to arrive tonight (or early in the morning). Till tommorrow, Good night and God Bless and we love ya'll.

I heard a sermon preached one time on the story of Lazerus. People were upset because in their minds Jesus was "too late." At the end of the sermon, the preacher said "Jesus is the only one who can be late and still be on time."
Dear Lord,
Thank you that you never forsake those who seek you, who cry out to you.Thank you that you are the Father of compassion. Lord, pour out your blessings on Anthony, Nancy and Tessa today.Be the great physician that you are to Tessa. God, I pray that you help all of us to trust in your perfect timing in healing Tessa. Draw us all closer to you as we wait.
In the name of Jesus,
Amen.
I'll check in later, I love ya'll
Patty

It's so great to hear she is doing some better. "Pray without ceasing!"and God will do the work.God please be with Nancy and Anthony today, help them keep the faith and give Tessa healing, in your name we ask. AMEN

Checking in on Tessa this morning. Glad to hear that she is stable. Remember how dark her extremities looked when she was first born? I pray that they will clear up now, just as they did back then. God is good and He is faithful. His ways are mysterious, but we must trust that He knows what He is doing. Your faith is an inspiration to thousands!!!
Still praying for Tessa and family!

Do you remember what God told Job when God talked to Him? First, he told him that his three friends were wrong; that it wasn't because of any sin that Job was being tested. But instead of explaing why bad things happen, God says,"Look at my wonderful creation!" God spends four chapters talking about the amazing things He made: stars, oceans, hailstsones, ostiches, thunder, whales and hippopotamuses. God Made Tessa , too. If He's big enouf for all creation, He's big enough for us now.Look out your window and marvel at God's creation and thank Him for what He has done and what he is going to do.
Victorious One,
It snowed today. I hope your new room has a view! I pray that your lungs are resting and healing. You're missed at Women's Hospital.
It's good to hear ANY encouraging news!!
I don't know about you, but we are getting an incredibly gorgeous snowfall right now. It's amazing. I hope you get the opportunity to take in the the beauty outside.
Lotsa love,
Melanie G
