We are very thankful that Tessa had a quiet day today. Her oxygen saturation and blood pressure have been stable. Unfortunately she is very swollen and her skin is stretched so thin. She has a small skin tear on her lower belly. The swelling (known as edema) happens when one is very sick and the body moves fluids outside the blood vessels into the tissues of the body. She is receiving continuous fluid because it is needed with her medications. Her body is not eliminating it quickly enough through her kidneys. The diuretic will help with this over time.
Tonight we pray for the edema, that it will begin to decrease. We pray for her little fingers and toes, that they will begin to heal and we pray for her lungs as they continue to rest. We pray for everyone involved in Tessa's care and all of the other children in need of healing. We also want to praise God in all things. We praise him for strength and the love that surrounds us. We praise him for family, friends, and everyone that has helped Tessa come this far. We praise him for our beautiful baby girl, our salvation, his guidance, forgiveness, and almighty healing. Great is our Lord.
Deuteronomy 3:24
O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

We are so happy to hear that she has had another stable day, slow and steady is a great thing! We pray that God will continue to provide the wisdom and guidance the doctors need in her healing. Hopefully soon the swelling will go away as well. We continously pray for the 3 of you, we ask that God comfort you, bring peace to your hearts and rest to your bodies and of course, health to Little Tessa. "Stay strong Baby Tessa, stay strong. We love you!" Our prayers are continous and will not stop, day and night, night and day! There are so many people praying for your precious little daughter! Baby Tessa,
Reading about the "Train Tracks" reminded me of the story of THE LITTLE TRAIN THAT COULD. Have thoughts like the little train; "I think I can, I think I can...I thought I could!"

Thank you Lord for the stable day you blessed Tessa with yesterday.Jesus, I pray in your name for your perfect will for Tessa. You know the desire of our hearts Lord. We ask that you breath perfect air into Tessa's lungs, we ask that you restore her precious little fingers, and that you rid her body of the fluid. You can speak it and it will be done, I trust that.
Be with Anthony and Nancy today. Speak to their hearts Lord. Bless them with the hope that only you can give.
Help us all to trust in you as we expectantly wait.
Amen
I hope everyone had a restful night last night. I hope today brings another stable day for Tessa. My prayers continue nonstop for all 3 of you.

Praying moment by moment for the three of you and for all who care for Tessa.
Nancy and Anthony,
You MUST remain strong and in faith that God will bring Tessa through this. It is beyond our human ability to comprehend why babies have to go through these trials. But God has a plan for Tessa's life. He would not have made her thrive so well that she barely was large enough to even use the ECMO. Or given the doctor the ability to thread the ECMO into her tiny heart chambers. I believe these are signs of God's plan to restore Tessa to full health. We all ache for you. But every tiny step must be praised.
Dear Heavenly Father
We thank you for the life of Tessa Nichole. We are so thankful for restful periods of time in her life. Being human we are so impatient for giant improvement, but have to remember that everything is possible in your time. We believe that in your time, Tessa will be healthy and home with her parents.
Bless Nancy and Anthony. They have been very strong. Give them the rest they need to keep the faith in your word.
These things we ask in Jesus' name.
Amen
i'm meghans roommate Emily, and our entire house is hoping for the best for your baby girl. we're all so sorry for you guys, we hope she gets better quickly.
God is more than able to restore perfect health to your baby girl. His word is true 100%. His promises are true 100%. If we believe when we ask of Him, it shall be done. We have all asked that Tessa be healed completely. I believe God will do this for her and for her trusting and faithful parents. We do have to be patient and wait for Him to move. That is the hardest part of all. My church is fasting Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a healing service that Sunday night. Tessa's name is on the top of my fast list. I will be fasting for her and the other little babies that you have come in contact with over the course of Tessa's care in both hospitals. I don't know who they are but God does and that's all that matters.
THank you God for your love and for the sacrafice of your precious son so that we may all live. Thank you for your promises for we know that all of them are 100% true and we can rest and find comfort in every one of them. Thank you God for these wonderful parents to Tessa who will guide her in the way that she should go so that when she is older, she will not depart from you or your word. Thank you God and praise Your Holy Precious name!
That is so good that she is having another stable day! I hope she has another stable day tomorrow. We will keep on praying. Soon Tessa will be home. Stay strong Tessa stay strong. Sending all our love.
