ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)

Continue in prayer. The doctors evaluated Tessa's condition when she arrived and felt it extremely urgent that she have ECMO surgery to assist her lungs in oxygenating her blood. She is in surgery and we are waiting in prayer also.

We are praying that Tessa will overcome this. Remember Nancy & Anthony, God's hands are big and He is watching over her. Remember with God ALL things are possible! We love you very much and we know what you are going through---God will give you strength from the very depths of your soul.

FOOTPRINTS:

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the
sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one
belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he
looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he
questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, You said that once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The Lord replied, "My son, My precious child, I love you and I would
never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it
was then that I Carried You."

We love you--Joey, Amanda, Jordan, Jamie, Dani Jo Hearl

Nancy & Anthony, our hearts and souls go out to you during this difficult time. We are praying continously for Little Tessa. God will hold her in his hands and help her lungs to heal. He has provided the doctors and nurses with the skill they need to help your little angel. We are praying that God will continue to watch over you two also. Tessa is so very blessed to be your daughter! Hang in there and know that we are all praying for the three of you! Sending all our prayers, thoughts, and love!

Verses from a hymn sung in church today seemed particularly appropriate:

I will come to you in the silence,
I will lift you from all your fear.
You will hear my voice,
I claim you as my choice, be still and know I am here.
Refrain:
Do not be afraid, I am with you.
I have called you each by name.
Come and follow me,
I will bring you home;
I love you and you are mine.

I am the Word that leads all to freedom
I am the peace the world cannot give,
I will call your name, embracing all your pain,
Stand up, now walk, and live!

Praying for the doctors and nurses, for you Nancy and Anthony and particularly for little Tessa. Feel God's presence.

Love, Joanne

Anthony and Nancy,
Both of you and of course your sweet Tessa have been in my thoughts and prayers this weekend. I will miss caring for her while she is at Baptist but I know that is where she needs to be right now. Keep trusting in the Lord, your faith has been such an encouragement to me. Keep us updated.
