Papoose

This evening Tessa took a bath, ate dinner, and then it was off to bed. It seems as if this may be similar to the routine once she comes home from the hospital. She looked so cute swaddled up in her bath towel and sucking her bottle. She took four feedings today by bottle and also nuzzled with mommy. Earlier in the day she was a little restless but this seemed to be caused by gas pains and problems stooling. After this passed she did better with her feedings and was much more comfortable.
As a precaution, the nurse practitioner put Tessa back on a daily diuretic today. She has been gaining weight consistently and they want to ensure that she is not retaining excess fluid weight. Her weight today is 4lb 5oz. She has done well on her new oxygen settings and completed a second day without any desats or bradycardia. God does wonderful work. Tomorrow is a big day in that we are expecting a visit from Grandma, Auntie Hilda, Aunt Gogo, and cousins May-may and Danielle. We look forward to their visit.

Psalm 111:4
He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
