Half-Pint

Tessa may be a half-pint size herself but starting today she is getting exactly a half-pint of milk per day. They increased her feedings to 30ml every 3 hours which is a total of 1 oz given eight times per day. 8oz is equal to 1 full cup of milk (a half pint) per day. God has brought her so far. Her feedings started out at just .3ml per hour about 2 months ago. Today she took almost 3 complete feedings by bottle.
Also today during rounds, the doctors and nurses decided to decrease her supplemental oxygen to 28% concentration. Tessa seems to be doing well with the lower setting. We hope that they can wean her off the oxygen soon but obviously we also want her to be ready. We are so happy when we see her progressing each day and our hope for continued progress is always in the Lord.

Psalm 146:5
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
