Obviously Tessa is not all that concerned about surgery today. She greeted dad with a great big yawn this morning. Mom and dad are definitely concerned and our hearts ache knowing what she has to overcome today but we know that God has her sheltered in his arms.
The PDA ligation procedure is scheduled for 1:50pm today. We have received word that the cardiologist may be able to take her a little early and the surgical staff will be picking her up between 12 and 1 o'clock. Her vital signs and blood gases were good throughout the night. She had an echocardiogram earlier this morning to do a final check of her heart. We know that God has given her a remarkable heart and has a great purpose for our little girl.
Psalm 61:3
For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

Anthony and Nancy:
I am Angie's sister-in-law, just wanted to tell you guys how brave you are and that everyone is in your corner. I made a contribution at work for the CVC Campaign to the Ronald Mcdonald House. My thoughts and prayers are with you today for the surgery and hope it is very successful. Tessa has endured a lot and I think of her everyday. Take care. Pam
Dean and I are praying for a very quick, successful surgery today as well as a speedy recovery for Tessa.
