Leaps and Bounds

I know that we have said this before but we sincerely appreciate everyone's prayers and support. Words cannot express how much it means to us. Tessa is progressing so well. She is no longer on any sedation or pain medication. Her feedings of breast milk with HMF(Human Milk Fortifier) are up to 4.3ml per hour. This is over 20 teaspoons per day. Full feedings for her size is 6ml per hour and if all goes well she will reach this goal in the next couple of days. They are taking her off the hyperal liquid nutrition today which means that she will be getting all of her calories from breast milk.
Our prayers at the moment are that Tessa will be able to come off the CPAP soon. The high flow nasal cannula will be so much more comfortable for her. She also had a blood test last night and she is anemic with a low hematocrit level. She may need another blood transfusion but we pray that the epo (erythropoietin) will begin working soon so that she will start producing enough of her own blood cells. God answers prayer.

1 Samuel 1:27
For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him

Please don't get discouraged, Tessa will hopefully get off the CPAP soon! I know that it must get hard to keep seeing your Tessa so uncomfortable. God knows best! We will continue to pray for ya'll!
