We are so proud of our little girl! She continues to impress the nurses with her energy. We do have a bit of good news for today. The nurse practitioner has told us that they plan to start her feeding tomorrow. She will receive a very small amount of breast milk through the syringe into her stomach. It may take a few days for her digestive system to get started. Sometimes they have to feed for a day and then stop. Other times they have to pump the milk back out and try again another day. Regardless, we see this as a big step forward. Our God is an awesome God.

So glad to hear everyone's thoughts and prayers are keeping little Tessa strong. That's great that she's going to get to have some milk. She's done great for being less than a week old!
Talk to you soon.

Our God is truly an awesome God... Everytime I read something about Tessa, I get chills. Your love for God, and that beautiful little girl, sure shows in your words.
We will continue to check up on her progress, and keep you all in our prayers. Rhonda ( s/o LA )
So glad about the big step forward.
God is taking very good care of your "little angel". Wow, Nancy and Anthony, sounds like Tessa is getting stronger and making very good strides all the time.
We can only pray that your milk will get her digestive system started.
Hope to talk to you very soon.
Love ya and miss ya,
Bev

Hello. Congratulations on the baby. I met Nancy a few weeks ago at work. I work for their rep agency. I was told about your early delivery. I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. And baby Tessa is absolutely beautiful. I will continue to pray for you and your baby.
Take Care

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,I know that well." Psalm 139:16.
Dear Lord you formed Tessa's inmost parts; You skillfully wove her in Nancy's womb. Tessa is fearfully and wonderfully made.
May the great Physician continue to strengthen and heal Tessa each day.
In Jesus's Holy name,
Marty
Just checking in on today's progress. I was in training most of the day so I was away from my computer. That is great news about Tessa getting to have milk tomorrow. Praise God! Another big step. I hope Mommy, Daddy and Tessa get a good nights rest. God Bless!
Love,
Melissa

Thanks Anthony for the postings. What a wonderful way to get caught up with all the important details pre and post delivery and at the same time re-learned my Neonatology and NICU 101.
On behalf of Fox Trail Development, I would like to welcome Tessa as the tiniest new member of the Fox Trail family!!!
