Tessa had lots going on today. She resumed her feedings and is getting milk every three hours. They skipped her 6:00 feeding because she still had some milk in her tummy but she got more at 9:00 this evening. Her belly was looking a little full so she had an x-ray of her bowel today. It showed that she needed to go to the bathroom so they gave her a glycerin suppository. A major bowel movement followed....one to be proud of. All was well after that...
Our neighbor Fran and her sister Phyllis visited today and Phyllis got to watch Tessa's x-ray. We thank them for bringing us more clothes and necessities from home. We thank God every day for our many friends and neighbors that he has brought into our lives.
Our concern for Tessa is still with the frequent desats she seems to experience. We still do not know if this is related to her PDA or to her immature lungs. Just before leaving Tessa this evening she experienced a dramatic drop in her blood oxygen levels and they had to use the ambu bag with 100% oxygen to bring her levels back up. We do not know why she chooses to do this right before time for us to go home. Pray that God will reveal the cause for her desats and that her body will respond well to whatever treatments are necessary. We serve a mighty God.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Good morning Anthony, Nancy, & Tessa. I read this poem and thought it perfect for little Tessa.
"Just Think, Your Daughter is not here by chance, but by God's choosing. His hand formed her and made her the person she is. He compares her to no one else - she is one of a kind. She will lack nothing that His grace can't give her. He has allowed her to be here at this time in history to fulfill His special purpose for this generation."
