We are so excited. We got to hear Tessa cry for the first time. She can make very soft sounds now that her ventilator tube has been removed. We tried to listen for most of the day and heard nothing but earlier this evening she got really upset with the nurses when changing her oxygen tube.....too much poking and prodding. We heard her very faint cry. We also got to catch our first glimpse of her face without all the breathing tubes. It sounds so ironic but we could not have been happier.
Psalm 118:24
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Good morning Mommy, Daddy and Miss Tessa! I hope all three of you got some sleep last night. Like Mommy and I were saying yesterday hearing Tessa cry would be the best sound in the world. Parenthood is such an awesome experience. Treasure every minute of it! I can't wait to see you guys. As always, you are in my constant thoughts and prayers.
