A better night

The report from the nurse is that Tessa had a better night. They gave her another dose of caffeine to help her with her breathing. Her blood sugar was still too high so she also received some insulin. Lastly, she received another blood transfusion because of low hematocrit (red blood cells) and hemoglobin. Today when we arrived she was resting beautifully. She even had a new blanket covering her isolette. The words on it read "Dear God, that's it for tonight, talk to you tomorrow." How appropriate.
